We connect with communities facing malnutrition and environmental challenges and offer them a proven method to grow abundant, nutritious food in small spaces year-round. We support trainers who are indigenous to their training areas (Rwanda, Kenya, India, Uganda, and expanding!) who train around 25 families at a time. 80% of our trainees are women. Among other supplies, we provide two fruit trees per family, which provide vitamins and add to long-term food security.

Our method has been proven to make a big difference, through water conservation and local accessibility. Learn how
After building permagardens, people have been known to launch other self-sufficiency projects, initiate peace and reconciliation as a response to crime, use the saved-up money to enroll their kids in school , buy livestock , and more
If you’re experiencing malnutrition or a harsh climate you can request a training, if you want your money to help suffering ecosystems and communities revitalize themselves you can donate , if you want to share your time and skills working with climate and peace can volunteer and help climate and peace activists (remote or in-person), and if you don’t have much time but would like to spread awareness there are plenty of ways to do so.

The trainers are amazing. I don’t understand why government agronomists haven’t taught us this. Most of this knowledge is completely new to us.
In today’s meeting we sang songs for women’s empowerment and understood the meaning of independence.
I now know how to use small spaces, recycle resources, and control rainwater. I’m producing more food than I ever thought possible.
